Let’s take a look at just one year in the suffering of our beautiful planet.
Wars going on in Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, Syria, Ethiopia and many more countries.
Forest fires in Spain, Greece, Sweden, Florida and on Saddleworth Moor.
Drought in Texas and unbearable heat in Japan.
Panama devastated by the building of another canal.
The Congo and Ghana being ripped apart in the search for minerals and gold.
Wildlife in danger in Kenya and Tanzania because of the building of a high speed railway.
And of course our country with fracking near
Blackpool and on the
Yorkshire moors.
I wonder how many cities have been destroyed this year due to war, and how many species and how much forest and countryside we have lost due to climate change?
Maybe when Richard Branson gets his spacecraft operating it would be a good idea to send all the super-rich people on a one-way ticket to the moon or Mars.
A lot of what is happening is due to them wanting to make more and more money.
