HUNDREDS of people are expected to take part in the latest of this year’s River Art Markets in York on Saturday, August 4.
The art and design markets, held on the Ouse next to Dame Judi Dench Walk, showcase dozens of emerging and established artists from around Yorkshire and further afield.
The first of this year's events, on Saturday, July 7, featured floral and horticultural artists, as the market collaborated with Bloom York.
Ten art markets are being staged throughout this summer, and a number of charities are being supported by the events, including The Island mentoring scheme, Martin House, Accessible Arts and Media and The Arts Barge.
After tomorrow, the remaining events will be on Saturday, August 11, 18 and 25 and Sunday, August 26. The final event this year will be on Saturday, September 1.
