PUPILS at Naburn CE Primary were sponsored to cycle, scooter or walk to raise funds for an orphanage in Malawi.
All pupils at the school, south of York, took part in the fundraiser in aid of the orphanage in Chifunga.
It was held on a cycle track near the school.
The school has a link with the orphanage and holds a regular Malawi Club.
In total, the school raised £1,640, which will be used to help fund a mill being built which will convert maize into flour, enabling the orphanage to become more self-sufficient.
Rachel Atkinson, from the school, said: "The children loved it, it was brilliant. They really enjoyed it."
