TWO people were injured in an attack at a taxi rank.
North Yorkshire Police said a man and a woman were assaulted at the James Street Taxi Rank in Selby town centre at about 1.25am on Sunday.
A spokesman said the woman was pushed to the ground and the man was punched in the face and required hospital treatment for facial injuries, and officers issued descriptions of two suspects.
The first was a white woman, with long straight blonde hair, aged in her thirties or early forties, about 5ft 10ins tall and of medium build. She was wearing a white floral tunic top and jeans.
The second suspect was a white man, with short dark hair, possibly aged in his forties, about 5ft 10ins tall and of stocky build. He was wearing a blue polo shirt and jeans.
