A YORK school has been named as the lead for a new careers hub, which will help the region's youngsters prepare for the world of work.
The York, North Yorkshire, East Riding regional hub will be based at Millthorpe School and is one of just 20 in England.
The hub will be made up of 35 local schools and colleges working together with universities, training providers, employers and professions to improve careers education.
Each school will have access to a bursary for training and support, such as careers events, mock interviews and workshops.
The hub will launch in September.
