THE new president of Selby Rotary Club has been elected.
Peter Foster succeeds Martin Wakefield to the office.
Peter has been a member of the club for 25 years, originally joining the Huntingdon Cromwell Club, and later moving to the Selby Club.
The position is nothing new to Peter, who has been taken on the role at Selby on three previous occasions.
He said: “Although this is my fourth time as president, I am still looking forward to raising lots of money for local charities.”
Peter, left, is pictured with vice-president William Bayston.
