Youths start fire in York by burning school books
A FIRE in York is believed to have been started by youths burning their school books.
The blaze in grassland at Batchelor Hill in Acomb has been put out and is now being investigated by the fire service.
The North Yorkshire Police York South team Tweeted:
We have just assisted @NorthYorksFire at a fire on Bachelor Hill, believed to be started deliberate by youths burning school books, visits to local schools to be conducted to try to ID youths. Parents do you know where your children are now? pic.twitter.com/pyxLGxplDA
