BECK Isle Museum in Pickering has a range of activities on offer during the school holidays.
Visitors can discover the history of Pickering through a host of activities, which are all included within the normal admission price.
There will be drop-in craft activities daily, from 10am to 3pm, which are suitable for all the family. With a changing theme each fortnight from birds and beasties to fun at the fairground, visitors will be able to get creative.
On Traditional Craft Days (August 1, 15 and 29) volunteers will demonstrate crafts such as spinning. There will also be a chance to find out more about the museum’s 19th century printing press.
Take a seat and listen to a range of summer-themed stories at the storytelling sessions for the under fives, which will take place on July 26, August 23 and September 20, from 10.30am to 11.30am.
