YORK band The Howl & The Hum will perform at August 19's Lazy Sunday Afternoon at Leeds Wharf Chamber.
The curators, Bradford’s cinematic alt-rock quartet Glass Mountain, first put on a Lazy Sunday line-up last summer and now return with Leeds indie pop band The Golden Age Of TV; Preston ethereal dream-pop four-piece Dream English Kid; psychedelic Brighton and Kent electro, dance and loop duo Radidas; 20-year-old Leeds multi-instrumentalist Lelo; playful Leeds indie rock six-piece Talkboy; darkly hypnotic post-punk miserablists The Howl & The Hum and, of course, themselves.
More names are to be added to a bill that will run from 2pm to 10.30pm with tickets priced at £7 at wegottickets.com/event/439299 or £9 on the door.
"As well as this brilliant array of bands and artists, you can expect special guests, vast quantities of home-cooked curry and a little break in the middle of the programme to allow you and your friends to soak up the sun, drink some beer and eat some food while you enjoy a perfect Lazy Sunday Afternoon," say the organisers.
Meanwhile, The Howl & The Hum's first London headline show at the Camden Assembly tonight has sold out.
