AN anti-fracking protestor who did not attend her trial has appeared before York Magistrates Court and received her punishment.
Barbara Anne Cookson, 67, of Lawrence Grove, Liverpool, was found guilty in June in her absence of two charges of obstructing Habton Road near Kirby Misperton in September.
District judge Adrian Lower issued a warrant with bail for her to attend court on July 10, which she did after police served the warrant on her.
He gave her a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered her to pay £85 prosecution costs and a £20 statutory surcharge.
