DETECTIVES want to find this man who allegedly drove a quad bike at two police officers.

Lewis Matthew Berkley, 19, was the first person in York to be made subject of a Criminal Behaviour Order after aggressive and abusive behaviour which intimidated communities in the city.

North Yorkshire Police said Berkley was released from prison last September - following a sentence for burglary and theft - and is believed to have breached his CBO "several times by committing a number of offences" since then.

Most recently, police said Berkley carried out "the suspected assault of two Police Community Support Officers by driving at them on a quad bike close to Hawthorne Terrace", on Tuesday.

Berkley - whose CBO runs until 2019 and prevents him from wearing a hoody - is white with mousey hair and brown eyes, is about 5ft 10in tall and proportionately built.

Officers believe he may currently be in Clifton, and are carrying enquiries to find him, but want to hear from anyone who knows Berkley’s whereabouts or has seen him.

Anyone with information should phone North Yorkshire Police on 101, or 999 if the sighting is immediate, quoting reference 12180124418.
