Crime and safety advice events
A SERIES of safety and crime prevention advice events will be held by North Yorkshire Police in Scarborough and Ryedale this summer.
The Keeping Safe summer roadshows will be present at Scarborough's Seafest on July 22 and 23, Filey's Return of the Dragon Festival on July 28 and 29, and at Whitby Regatta between August 11 and 13.
Police and volunteers will offer advice and property marking at each of the events, and discuss how to become a police volunteer ahead of recruitment opening in September.
