FAMILIES enjoyed a day of live music, games and, of course, football at a York primary school festival on Saturday.
Clifton Green Primary School hosted its own music festival, Greenfest, for the first time with the aim of fundraising for charity York Mind.
Youngsters enjoyed the sunshine as they played on inflatable obstacles and enjoyed fairground rides.
The event featured live performances from musicians including Sister Madly, The Skapones and 28 Mansions.
And there was a big screen where visitors were able to watch as England secured their place in the semi-finals of the World Cup with a victory over Sweden.
Organisers said the event was "brilliant" and added that they are looking forward to hosting the festival again next year.
