The riverside art market
PEOPLE walking along Dame Judi Dench Walk by the side of York's River Ouse have a chance to see works by more than 30 artists this summer.
York River Art Market will take place on consecutive Saturdays until September 1,plus the August Bank Holiday Sunday of August 26.
Organisers say the market, upstream of Lendal Bridge, will offer fresh, emerging and established talent from across Yorkshire and beyond, and supports a variety of local charities including Island Mentoring Scheme,Accessible Arts and Media and The Arts Barge.
"These events are free entry and prices suit all budgets," they said.
