VISITORS to Murton Park, near York, on Saturday afternoon will be immersed in a world of riddles, runes and revenge with Viking expert Janina Ramirez to celebrate her new children’s book.
Janina will introduce fearless shield maidens, reveal fascinating facts about the Vikings, and will need the help of visitors to solve a mysterious crime in the fjords of Kilsgard.
Visitors can also soak in the atmosphere of a reconstructed Viking village as Janina reads her new book, ‘Riddle of the Runes’, from the centre of the village.
Janina will also be signing copies of her book during the afternoon.
In addition, there will be family activities from Murton Park’s schools education programme.
