THE York Unitarians' Occasional Fridays concert series will welcome a string quartet for the first time, and a young one at that, on July 20 at 12.30pm at the St Saviourgate Unitarian Chapel, York.
Mousai Quartet formed in January 2018 at the Royal Academy of Music, London, with a line-up of Caroline Heard and Imogen Brewer, from York, on violins, Katie Le Feuvre on viola and Rebecca Bradley on cello.
Caroline, Katie and Rebecca have completed their third year of study and Imogen her second, and they plan to audition for the Royal Academy’s Asset Scheme for string quartets.
In York, Mousai Quartet will perform string quartets by Mozart and Debussy. Tickets cost £6, concessions £4, on the door.
