Firefighters have tackled several bin fires
PLASTIC and metal bins in a communal bin store have been damaged in a fire.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said crews from Acomb and Huntington tackled the blaze off Field Lane, Heslington, York, which also damaged a section of surrounding fencing.
Firefighters also dealt with a bin fire in York's Rowntree Park, which was believed to have been started deliberately, and another in The Ropery, Pickering, which was believed to have been caused by a dropped light.
