PUPILS are preparing to spread some pixie dust in their school production next week. More than 60 students at Lady Lumley’s School in Pickering are involved in Peter Pan from Wednesday, July 4 to Friday, July 6, at 7pm each night.

The production has been directed by head of drama Sarah Goodwill and English teacher Sarah Jennings, with the set created by Holly Naylor, director of art. Pupils from Years 7 to 12 are involved in the play, both as cast and crew, with rehearsals taking place since December.

Mrs Jennings said: “I’m really proud of all of the students involved, they’ve worked very hard and shown excellent commitment throughout. I’m excited about the show. We want to create a sense of fun and adventure on stage with perhaps a few surprises.”

Tickets are £5 for adults and £3 for concessions, and available from the school reception or by phoning 01751 472846.
