A MAN was arrested and cannabis plants were seized in a police raid in York.
North Yorkshire Police raided a house in Kingsway North at about 2.40pm on Thursday, June 21, where they discovered cannabis plants, herbal substance and equipment associated with the production of cannabis.
A spokeswoman said: "Officers seized 12 cannabis plants, two jars and a bag of suspected cannabis, fans, lights and a bag of white powder.
"A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cannabis cultivation and supplying class b drugs. He has been released while under investigation."
