ABOUT 100 artworks by children from across York will go on display at York Mosque tomorrow afternoon.
The mosque in Bull Lane is hosting a children’s art competition, with an exhibition of their work staged between 2.30 and 5.30pm on Saturday June 23, as part of Refugee Week.
Children from schools including Archbishop Holgate's, Clifton Green and Lord Deramore's, from Osbaldwick Scouts and from Refugee Action York, and from the mosque, were asked to create works on the theme of refugees’ ‘different pasts, shared future.'
