FIREFIGHTERS tackled a shed fire in York on Thursday evening.
A crew was called to the fire in Penyghent Avenue, Tang Hall, at about 7.45pm.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire fire service said: “The fire was caused by a fault on an electrical appliance within the shed.”
Two hose reel jets were used to put out the flames.
The shed suffered 100 per cent fire damage.
