POLICE and Trading Standards want to find this man in connection with a number of fraud allegations.
North Yorkshire Police said Paul Ternent, 52, from the Bournmoor area of County Durham, is wanted by the force and Trading Standards over alleged frauds, thefts and money laundering offences against vulnerable people in the North Yorkshire, Durham and Northumbria areas.
A spokeswoman said: "The incidents involve a man posing as an handy man who befriends his vulnerable victims and manages to persuade them to take out loans and credit on his behalf and hand over large sums of money. Anyone who has seen Mr Ternent or knows where he is now, is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police."
The spokeswoman said the alleged offences were committed in the Whitby, Cramlington, Bournmoor and Pelton Fell areas.
