A TEENAGE cyclist suffered injuries in a collision with a bus in York.
North Yorkshire Police said officers were called to the incident in West Bank, off Acomb road in Holgate, at about 8.15pm on Wednesday.
A spokeswoman said a 15-year-old boy had suffered suspected pelvic injuries in a collision with a First bus at the scene.
The boy was treated by paramedics, and later taken to Leeds General Infirmary. The spokeswoman said the severity of his injuries could not be confirmed.
Marc Bichtemann, managing director of First York, said the company was "carrying out a full investigation", and attempting to contact the boy's family to offer support.
Police inquiries are also continuing.
