THE Environment Agency’s next public information drop-in for the £45 million York Flood Alleviation Scheme is taking place on Wednesday, June 20.
It will showcase proposals that will better protect 150 properties by improving flood defences between Clifton Bridge and Scarborough Bridge, behind St Peter’s and St Olave’s schools.
The event will take place from midday to 7pm at the Environment Agency’s Community Hub on Wellington Row. Proposals for the flood defences will remain on display for a further four weeks.
