POLICE have appealed to find the owner of nine bantam chickens found near York.
North Yorkshire Police said a member of the public found the chickens - three 'silkies', three brown and white and three black and white - close to Tockwith, and they are believed to either be lost or stolen.
Anyone who has lost chickens should phone 101 and quote reference NYP-13062018-0068.
