ORGANISERS of the York Cares Big Community Challenge say it is set to stage its biggest project yet, as employee-volunteers from businesses including Aviva, Benenden Health, John Lewis and Northern Rail assemble to transform four local sites next week.
Volunteers will create a beach themed garden at Mill Lodge NHS Community Unit, where support is provided for young people experiencing acute mental health issues, and a team from Portakabin will renovate and redecorate The Glen respite centre.
