POLICE arrested a driver on suspicion of a number of drugs offences after stopping a car on York’s outer ring road.
North Yorkshire Police said a Ford Mondeo was stopped on the A1237 near the Hopgrove roundabout at about 4pm on Wednesday.
A police spokeswoman added: “The male driver was arrested on two counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A, possession of a controlled drug of Class A, possession a controlled drug of Class B, possession of a class C controlled drug, acquire, use or possess criminal property and driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit.”
He has been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
