RICK Astley will follow his chart-topping comeback album, 50, with Beautiful Life on July 20 on the BMG label.

After selling more than 100,000 tickets for his 2017 tour, the 52-year-old Newton-le-Willows singer will promote his new record with 18 dates, including Hull Venue on October 26 and Leeds First Direct Arena on November 16.

Two years ago the Eighties and Nineties' pop star returned with an album that surprised everyone, even himself, selling more than 300,000 copies en route to being one of the biggest hits of 2016.

Astley wrote, produced and played every instrument on 50 and has done so again for Beautiful Life, a set of 12 new songs, such as the Chic-flavoured title track, the evocative Rise Up, the catchy Try and the warm childhood memories of The Good Old Days.
