Like the others, one night, young Mana, from the Redyellow planet, is forced to catch a shooting star to seek refuge elsewhere in Gaël Le Cornec and Ben Samuels' play The Other at the York Theatre Royal Studio on June 28.
During Mana's journey across the universe, imagination is her best defence in the struggle for survival, but will she ever arrive at her dreamland, the beautiful blue planet?
Award-winning theatre makers Le Cornec and Samuels present a "disturbing coming-of-age, twisted fairy tale and darkly comic adventure-thriller overflowing with poetry, strange creatures and stunning imagery" at 7.45pm.
