ORGANISATIONS including York Foodbank and Citizens Advice York are to benefit from grants totalling £166,000 from City of York Council.
The money from the ‘Improving Finances, Improving Lives’ fund for 2018/19 will help ensure residents are advised on how to manage their finances effectively.
Executive member Carol Runciman said the grants would go a long way to supporting projects that helped to make a positive difference to the lives of many people.
