A BUSINESSWOMAN and boss of retail giant Card Factory is set to reveal some of the secrets of her success.
Karen Hubbard will be launching York St John University’s “The Business Of…” series of public talks on Thursday.
Hosted by York Business School, the series features leading figures from the business world.
Karen will be joined by Jon Hammond Booth, former BBC presenter and Governor of York St John.
Mr Hammond Booth will interview Karen in a Q&A session.
Attendees will be able to ask Karen about her rise to the top of her profession, and the trials and obstacles she overcame along the way.
“Business – a Man’s World?” is a free event in the De Grey Lecture Theatre at York St John from 6.15pm to 8.15pm on Thursday.
