A STRENSALL cadet has spoken of her “amazing” day as a Royal Wedding guest inside Windsor Castle.
Natalie Dixon, 17, and her father Simon had a close-up view of guests from the world of music, showbiz and sport arriving at St George’s Chapel and of Princes Harry and William walking to the ceremony.
After the ceremony, she had the chance to go inside the chapel.
“The flowers were amazing,” she said. “The smell of them was so strong, it hit me as soon as I went in. It was quite overwhelming. Windsor Castle is so big.
“There was such a good atmosphere there.
“Everyone there was there because of a worthy cause - it was utterly amazing.
“I was honoured to be there.
“It was a bit surreal. I never expected I would ever be given the chance to go to a royal wedding.”
