BOSSES at a bus company have been going back to the shop floor to gain new skills as part of National Learning Week.
Staff from across First York took part in the campaign. Managing director Marc Bichtemann and fleet engineer Stuart Eyre put on their overalls and helped carry out vehicle inspections and changed a started motor on an articulated bus. Employees also took the opportunity to learn new skills including photography, budgeting and even cake making.
A spokesman said the event helps colleagues share their knowledge and learn new things for work and for fun.
