AN ELDERLY woman suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash in North Yorkshire.
The 85-year-old was driving a Skoda Fabia estate out of the Victoria multi-storey car park in East Parade, Harrogate, which was involved in a crash with a black Vauxhall Corsa travelling along East Parade from the Odeon roundabout at about 1.20pm on Thursday.
A spokeswoman for North Yorkshire Police said the Skoda driver was taken to Harrogate District Hospital and later transferred to Leeds General Infirmary with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Vauxhall, a 30 year-old woman from Wetherby, was also taken to Harrogate District Hospital with minor injuries and was later discharged.
