MAJOR changes to bin collection days across Hambleton come into force next month.
Fortnightly collections for blue, black and green bins and blue boxes are changing from June 4.
Every household will receive a postcard informing them of the new times over the next ten days and the new schedule will be live on the collection finder at www.hambleton.gov.uk from May 22.
Hambleton District Council says it is streamlining rounds to make them more cost effective.
Cllr Stephen Watson said that as a result of the changes, the council would save at least £150,000 a year.
