RICHARD Curtis's all-star film Love Actually will be screened with live orchestral accompaniment at York Barbican on December 13.

First released in 2003, Curtis's romantic comedy tells ten separate yet interweaving stories of love around Christmas time with a cast featuring Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, Laura Linney, Bill Nighy, Martine McCutcheon, Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson, Keira Knightley Rowan Atkinson and Martin Freeman.

A full orchestra will perform Craig Armstrong’s evocative score to accompany's the film's projection on a big screen at 7.30pm. Since 2003, Armstrong has gone on to be awarded a BAFTA for his Achievement in Film Music.
