A YORK village pub could become the 12th around the city to be recognised as a community asset.
The Friends of The Collingwood have applied to have the Lord Collingwood pub in Upper Poppleton listed as an asset of community value (ACV) - saying it it a valued community hub and meeting place for locals.
City council officials say it meets the basic criteria for listing, and the move has not been opposed by the owners Marstons Pubs.
