RESIDENTS in York have been warned that armed North Yorkshire Police officers will be training in the city tonight.
A message shared on social media by the force said the Firearms Unit "will be taking part in routine training exercises in the Fulford area".
A spokesman said: "Please don’t be alarmed if you notice a lot of police activity or if you hear some noise for a short space of time."
