AN electrical pole burst into flames in a field near North Duffield.
Firefighters from Selby Fire Station were called to the scene on Tuesday at about 4.30pm.
North Yorkshire Fire Service said there was “severe damage” to the utility pole and slight damage to a nearby tree. The fire is believed to have been caused by a fault and Northern Power Grid was also called to the scene.
