A WOMAN was taken to hospital after being found on fire at a North Yorkshire petrol station.
Emergency services were called to the Dragon Service Station in Skipton Road, Harrogate, at just before 8pm on Tuesday.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said officers were called to reports "that a distressed woman was on fire".
The forecourt was cordoned off by police while firefighters and paramedics assisted the local woman, aged in her 40s, who was later taken to Harrogate District Hospital for treatment before being transferred to Pinderfields Hospital.
The spokesman said her injuries were "not believed to be life-threatening", and "she is receiving medical support and care".
