DRUGS have been seized after a police raid in York today (April 24).
At 9.30am, York South Neighbourhood Policing Team, with support from the force's Operational Support Unit, executed a warrant at a property on Dale Street, off Nunnery Lane, North Yorkshire Police said.
Inside the house, they found cannabis, and syringes containing a brown substance, the force added.
It said police were acting on information received from the local community.
It also said the investigation is ongoing and no arrests were made.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police commented: "Anyone with information about activity connected to illegal drugs should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101. As this morning's warrant shows, we can and will act on community concerns and take proactive enforcement action."
