FIREFIGHTERS rescued a horse after it became trapped in a gate near Selby.
Crews from Selby were called to Main Road in Drax at about 5.10pm yesterday (April 23) and released the one-year-old horse whose leg was stuck in a metal gate.
Small tools were used to remove the gate.
North Yorkshire fire service said the horse suffered minor leg injures and was left with its owner.
