O’HOOLEY & Tidow will headline the Music and Social Conscience fundraising concert for Refugee Action York at Brew York, in the Enterprise Complex, Walmgate, York, on May 6.
Belinda O'Hooley and Heidi Tidow were nominees for Best Duo in the 2018 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, a testament to the potency of their political, defiant songwriting. Their songs also take in such subject matters as an elephant orphanage in Nairobi and a celebration of West Riding cycling champion Beryl Burton.
This sold-out event will run from 7pm to 10.30pm.
