Residents warned over burglaries.
POLICE have warned residents about an increase in burglaries in the Harrogate area.
North Yorkshire Police said there had been an increase in burglars burning plastic UPVC doors to expose the lock and attempting to steal car keys from within.
Residents are urged to remain vigilant and ensure their home is secure, and report any burn marks or damage to doors to police on 101.
