RESIDENTS whose homes were at risk during York's recent flooding are being asked whether they received flood warning messages.
Senior York councillor Andrew Waller says he wants their views to assist in a review aimed at finding whether the right messages reached the right people.
“In all emergency scenarios, communications to residents is crucial," said the environment executive member, adding that if people felt elements of the messaging could be improved or did not work for them, he would like to know, so he could feed views back to the Environment Agency.
