MORE than 200 scooter and motorbike riders will set off from York on Sunday on an annual charity run to Beadlam in Ryedale.
The run, organised by York Inset Scooter Club, will raise funds for Prostate Cancer Research at the University of York.
Riders will set off from the Eye of York at 10.30am, with the run started by honorary members, York Normandy Veterans and Professor Norman Maitland from the University of York.
Later on Sunday, the York Scout & Guide St George's Day Procession, regarded as the largest in the country, will snake its way through the city centre to a service at York Minster.
