MY wife and I do the word puzzles every day in The Press and have done for years. On March 17, the codeword appeared to contain the word “ousters”, which was not in the Oxford Dictionary. I think the word may have been “oysters” and that the number code was wrong.
It would be nice to have a response from the puzzles compiler. I have written twice before about words that don’t exist.
We have been taking The Press for over 60 years. We don’t need any other newspaper. I won a word competition run by Stacey Brewer in 1962 and received a 45 record signed by Joe Loss, which I treasure.
