Car fire believed to be arson
A FIRE involving a car in a field in North Yorkshire is believed to have been started deliberately.
Shortly after 8pm yesterday (April 18), fire crews from Tadcaster responded to reports of a fire in a field seen from the A162 at Barkston Ash, near Church Fenton.
Crews confirmed the fire involved a car and used one hose reel and one breathing apparatus to put out the flames.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire fire service said: "The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate."
