EAST Riding Archives has recently completed its 400,000th entry.
The archives in Beverley started cataloguing its collections in 2000 and reached the milestone on February 27 this year.
This means it has catalogued items at a rate of more than 22,000 documents per year.
The 400,000th document is an entry for a page of photographs of local events in Hull-based magazine The Journal for March 2018.
The nationally accredited service can be contacted on 01482 392 790 or by email at archives.service@eastriding.gov.uk, or search for archives at www2.eastriding.gov.uk.
