PLACES are still available on a Learn to Nordic Walk course.
The course, run by City of York Council, starts on Friday, April 20 and runs weekly for four weeks from 10am to 11am, meeting at the Rowntree Park Reading Café.
It costs £25 and at the end participants get a Nordic Walking UK Freedom Card, so they can attend Nordic Walking groups anywhere in the UK, including several in York. Book via 01904 553377 or yorwellbeing@york.gov.uk.
